-Anthony Biggs-

Hello! My name is Anthony Biggs, and I’m a photographer based in the mountains of western North Carolina. I have a wonderful dog named Callie who means everything to me. I have always enjoyed taking pictures of horses and people, but I have found my niche in action photography. Being able to freeze the “in action” moment of a horse and rider is priceless. The hard work and dedication from both is always remarkable.

I was born and raised in Asheville. I’ve lived here all of my life with my family, whose roots are buried deep. When I was younger, I wanted to join a 4-H group. At the time, I didn’t have my own horse, but I had met someone through my 4-H group who gave me an amazing opportunity teaching me to ride. As time went on, I began to venture out and show. I started out showing western pleasure and ranch classes. As I became a stronger rider, I decided I wanted to expand. I loved to go fast and craved the adrenaline. I started barrel racing and eventually met a great friend who would teach me how to rope – which is something very difficult to say the least. I still barrel race a little when I can, but we often just have a relaxing ride at home.

Several years ago, my interest in photography began to grow. I found two things that I enjoyed doing and started to capture photos at some events I attended. The more events I went to, the more I fell in love with it. As I progressed, I took more and more pictures. I got asked to do prom pictures, family, engagements, and a couple of weddings. I enjoy taking pictures of all sorts but, I will say my favorites are horses and action. I’ve always been told I’m fun to be around and go above and beyond to make my clients happy. No matter what kind of photographs you are looking for, I guarantee I’ll put 110% into each session. We’ll make your shoot fun, andI’ll ensure you get the pictures you hope for. Let’s make some memories you can look back on with a smile!
